Manual or automatic back gauge height adjustment. The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. with a step bending system.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, certain calculations are required, which depend on several key parameters of the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – distance between the ends of the bent curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – number of single bends needed to achieve the required radius; the higher the number, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between each bend made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are already so advanced that they automate many aspects of it, relieving the operator of manual calculations.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures uniform bending angles along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures consistent bending angles along the entire bending length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a high-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending process speed.

No compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in the EU.

Be cautious with pseudo protections such as gates or light curtains, as they are not CE compliant and can endanger employees. As an employer, you are responsible for the safety of your staff!
Safety guards compliant with CE

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety at work
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our clients and their teams; therefore, our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety systems. These include clear markings, side covers, rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters is what systems the machine is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard equipment ensuring stable machine parameters even during long-term continuous operation.
Tool and die clamping:
- Standard divided four-sided multi-groove dies and divided punches
- The standard system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing fast tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Die and punch selection
For the best results, correct selection of press brake tools — the die and the punch — is essential.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can correct deviations during the process to ensure optimal accuracy.

Depending on the press force, divided punches and dies may vary in length.
