Manual or automatic backgauge finger height adjustment. The R axis facilitates large-radius bending, for example using the step-bending method.

To achieve a satisfactory step-bending result, certain calculations must be performed. These require knowledge of several key parameters associated with the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet, measured along the inside of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet bent to a specified radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, consequently, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step-bending process may appear quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are sufficiently advanced to perform many operations automatically for the operator.
Automatic deflection compensation
Maintains the same bending angle across the entire bending length – (option)
Manual deflection compensation (option)
Maintains the same bending angle across the entire bending length – (option)

High-quality components:
- Electrical system components from Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Control and Functionality:

CR-41 CNC
- equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen installed on a movable arm, allowing freedom of operation throughout the machine’s working area
- Programmability: capacity to save up to 2,000 programs with 30 steps in each, allowing flexible adaptation to various tasks
- Ergonomic operation: an intuitive menu with English abbreviations facilitates quick familiarisation with the machine
The machine combines advanced technology with straightforward operation, making it an ideal choice for both precise manual tasks and efficient series production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems ensure reliable and safe operation.
Safety
Laser safety system
A high-grade laser safety system is included as standard, protecting the operator and making the bending process more than twice as fast.

We do not compromise on safety! High-grade hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of inadequate safety devices such as gates or light curtains, as they do not comply with CE standards and may expose employees to the risk of injury. As the employer, you are responsible for your employee’s health and safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases operating comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear safety markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has a CE declaration does not mean that it is safe. The systems with which it is equipped are what matters!

SCO – Oil cooling system
A system included as standard that ensures stable machine operating parameters even after prolonged continuous use.
Punch and die clamping:
- Segmented, multi-groove, four-sided dies and segmented punches included as standard
- The standard system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type European system, enabling rapid tool changes
- The punches are inserted from the side of the machine and secured with screws
Die and punch selection
To achieve the required final result, it is also important to select the correct press brake tooling, namely the die and punch.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can, for example, correct deviations during operation to achieve the best possible result.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
