Manual or automatic adjustment of backstops height. The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. with a step bending system.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, it is necessary to perform certain calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these are:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet with a specified radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are already so advanced that in many aspects they completely assist the operator.

High-quality components:
- Electrical system components from Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Control and functionality:

CR-41 CNC
- equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen mounted on a movable arm, allowing full freedom of operation throughout the machine’s working area
- Programmability: capacity to store up to 2,000 programs with 30 steps each, enabling flexible adaptation to various bending tasks
- Ergonomic operation: intuitive English-language menu facilitates quick familiarisation with the system
The machine combines advanced technology with ease of operation, making it an ideal choice for both precise manual work and efficient serial production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems guarantee reliability and operator protection.
Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles the bending process speed.

No compromises on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in the EU.

Be cautious with pseudo-safety systems such as gates or light curtains, as they do not comply with CE standards and may endanger employees. As an employer, you are responsible for your workers’ safety!
Safety guards compliant with CE

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety at work
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our clients and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a number of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side covers, rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has a CE declaration does not automatically mean it is safe — what matters is the safety systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard system ensuring stable machine parameters even after long continuous operation.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard divided four-sided multi-groove dies and divided punches
- The standard system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
The final bending effect also depends on the proper selection of press brake tools — the die and punch.
CORMAK press brakes perform continuous bend measurements and can, for example, automatically correct deviations during the process to ensure an optimal result.

Depending on the press force, divided punches and dies may vary in length.
