Cobalt drill bits are made from high-speed steel (HSS) with 5% cobalt (Co5%). This provides exceptional heat resistance – essential when drilling hard materials such as stainless and acid-resistant steels. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating further enhances durability by reducing friction and preventing corrosion.

Features of our cobalt drill bits: cylindrical shank; double-ground; 131° point angle; H8 tolerance class; right-hand cutting direction.

Ground drill bit sets

We also offer ground drill bit sets available in sizes from 14.5 to 30 mm. These drills feature high manufacturing precision and excellent heat resistance, making them perfect for professional use.

Features of CORMAK ground drills: made from high-speed steel (HSS); Morse taper shank; double-ground; H8 tolerance class; right-hand cutting direction.

Each set includes 9 DIN345 NWKc drills ranging from 14.5 mm to 30 mm in diameter, overall lengths from 212 mm to 296 mm, and working lengths from 114 mm to 175 mm. Like the cobalt drills, they are perfect for machining structural, tool and stainless steels, as well as non-ferrous and other hard materials.
