Manual or automatic backgauge height adjustment. The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. using step bending.

To achieve a satisfactory result of step bending, it is necessary to perform certain calculations, which require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these include:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curve of the bent sheet metal part, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a bent sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, as a result, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are now so advanced that in many aspects they completely relieve the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

High-quality components:
- Electrical system components by Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Control and Functionality:

CR-41 CNC
- Equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen mounted on a movable arm, allowing convenient operation across the entire working area of the machine
- Programmability: ability to store up to 2,000 programmes with 30 steps each, enabling flexible adaptation to various tasks
- Ergonomic operation: intuitive menu with English shortcuts facilitates quick familiarisation
The machine combines advanced technology with ease of operation, making it an ideal choice for both precise manual tasks and efficient serial production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems guarantee reliability and safe operation.
Safety
Laser safety system
As standard, a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and accelerating the bending process by more than two times.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of pseudo safety solutions such as gates or light curtains, as they are not compliant with CE requirements and expose employees to health risks. As an employer, you are responsible for the health of your operator!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has CE certification does not automatically mean it is safe. What matters is which systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
As standard, a system ensuring stable operating parameters of the machine even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- As standard, segmented multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is a manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked using screws
Selection of die and punch
Due to the final effect, the correct selection of press brake tools – dies and punches – is also important.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can, for example, correct deviations during operation to achieve the most optimal result.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
