Manual or automatic height adjustment of backstops. R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step bending system.

For a satisfactory step bending effect, certain calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of a few key parameters of the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to obtain the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend, resulting in a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are advanced enough to automate most of it, relieving the operator of many tasks.
Automatic crowning compensation

High-quality components:
- Electrical system components from Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Control and functionality:

CR-41 CNC
- Equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen, mounted on a movable arm allowing freedom of operation across the working area
- Programmability: ability to store up to 2,000 programs, each with 30 steps, allowing flexible adaptation to various bending tasks
- Ergonomic operation: intuitive menu with English abbreviations for quick start-up
The machine combines advanced technology with ease of use, making it ideal for both precision manual tasks and efficient serial production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems ensure reliability and operator safety.
Safety
Laser safety system
Standard with us: a high-end laser safety system protecting the operator and more than doubling the bending process speed.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure reliable performance.

Beware of pseudo-protection such as gates or light curtains, as they may not comply with CE standards and can endanger operators’ health. Remember, as an employer, you are responsible for worker safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our customers and their teams; therefore, our press brakes are equipped with multiple protective systems including clear safety markings, side guards, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency stops.
Every machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters are the systems the machine is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even after long, continuous use.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard split four-sided multi-groove dies and split punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type quick-change system, allowing rapid tool replacement
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and secured with bolts
Die and punch selection
The final bending result depends greatly on the correct selection of tools — punch and die.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically compensate deviations during operation to ensure optimal results.

Depending on the press force, split punches and dies may differ in length.
