Manual or automatic back gauge height adjustment. R axis facilitating the bending of larger radii, e.g. by step bending.

For the result of step bending to be satisfactory, certain calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these are:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curve of the bent sheet metal part, measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be made to obtain bent sheet metal with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, as a result, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, the machines and software available from CORMAK are already advanced enough to relieve the operator completely in many respects.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length - ((option))
Manual crowning compensation ((option))
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length - ((option))

Safety
Laser safety system
As standard, a top-class laser safety system protects the operator and speeds up the bending process by more than twice.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of pseudo safety solutions such as gates or light curtains, as they are not compliant with CE standards and expose employees to loss of health. As the employer, you are responsible for your employee’s health!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Conveniences:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety of work
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has a CE declaration does not mean that it is safe. What matters is which systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil cooling system
As standard, a system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- As standard, segmented multi-V four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Die and punch selection
Due to the final result, proper selection of tools for the press brake, i.e. the die and punch, is also important.
CORMAK press brakes carry out bending measurements on an ongoing basis and can, for example, correct deviations during the process to achieve the most optimal result possible.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
