Manual or automatic backgauge height adjustment. The R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. using the step-bending method.

To achieve a satisfactory step-bending result, certain calculations are required, which depend on several key parameters related to the bending process, including:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet, measured on the inside of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the single bend angle and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step-bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are already so advanced that in many aspects they completely relieve the operator.
Automatic deflection compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (oprion*)
Manual deflection compensation (oprion*)
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (oprion*)

High-quality components:
- Electrical system components by Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Control and Functionality:

CR-41 CNC
- equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen mounted on a movable arm, enabling free operation across the entire working area of the machine
- Programmability: ability to store up to 2,000 programmes, with 30 steps each, allowing flexible adaptation to various tasks
- Ergonomic operation: intuitive menu with English shortcuts enables quick familiarisation
The machine combines advanced technology with ease of operation, making it an ideal choice for both precise manual tasks and efficient serial production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems guarantee reliability and safe operation.
Safety
Laser safety system
As standard, a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles the bending process speed.

We do not compromise on safety! High-class hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Warning against pseudo safety systems such as gates or light curtains, as they do not comply with CE requirements and may pose a risk to operators.
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety systems. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has CE certification does not automatically mean it is safe. What matters is which systems it is equipped with.

SCO – Oil cooling system
As standard, a system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- As standard, segmented multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
Due to the final result, proper selection of press brake tooling – the die and punch – is also important.
CORMAK press brakes continuously perform bending measurements and can, for example, correct deviations during the process to achieve the most optimal result.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
