Manual or automatic back gauge height adjustment. R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. in step bending systems.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending effect, certain calculations are required, which depend on several key parameters related to the bending process, including:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends needed to achieve the required radius; the more bends, the smaller the individual bending angle, resulting in a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between consecutive bends performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complicated, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they largely relieve the operator of many calculations and adjustments.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures an identical bending angle along the entire bending length – (option).
Manual crowning compensation (option)
Ensures identical bending angles along the entire bending length – (option).

Safety
Laser safety system
Only with us as standard – a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in Europe guarantee reliability and operator protection.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as light barriers or safety gates, as they do not comply with CE standards and may endanger operators. As an employer, you are responsible for your employee’s safety!
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on a movable boom
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety of operation
- Front supports on linear guides

We care about the safety of our clients and their teams – that’s why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety systems. These include clear warning labels, side covers, a rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Every machine is supplied with a clear and detailed operating manual in English.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – what matters is the actual equipment and protection systems implemented!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard equipment includes a system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Tool clamping – punches and dies:
- Standard configuration includes split multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic clamping system used in CORMAK press brakes is a manual AMADA-type (European) quick-change system allowing easy tool replacement
- Punches are side-mounted and locked with screws
Selection of dies and punches
The final bending result also depends on the proper selection of tools – the die and punch.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can automatically correct deviations to ensure the most accurate bending results.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
