The presented configuration is the most frequently chosen by customers – a proven and efficient choice for serial production.
Main Features:
-
Front supports: 2 units on linear guides, ensuring stability during bending operations
-
Backgauge adjustment (X axis): automatic
-
Beam adjustment (Y1, Y2 axes): automatic
-
Finger height adjustment (R axis): manual (option*)
-
Punch clamping: double-sided AMADA-type quick clamping system, enabling fast tool changes
Available configurations are customised to the production needs and the type of workpieces – machine specifications are determined individually according to application and technological requirements.

Manual or automatic adjustment of backgauge height. The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step bending.

To achieve satisfactory results in step bending, certain calculations are required. They depend on several key parameters of the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved sheet metal, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends necessary to achieve a given radius; a greater number of bends results in a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although step bending may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that in many aspects they fully assist the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire working length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire working length – (option*)

High-quality components:
- Electrical components by Schneider/Delta/Eaton

Safety
Laser safety system
Equipped as standard with a high-class laser safety system protecting the operator and significantly accelerating the bending process.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure reliable performance.

Beware of non-compliant safety solutions such as gates or light curtains — they do not meet CE standards and may endanger operators’ safety. The employer is responsible for employee safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improves work comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides

Cormak press brakes are equipped with numerous safety features including clear markings, side and rear guards, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Having CE certification does not automatically mean a machine is safe — what matters is which systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard, this system ensures stable machine performance even during prolonged continuous operation.
Punch and Die Clamping:
- Standard: segmented multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) quick-change system
- Punches are mounted from the side and locked with screws
Selection of Dies and Punches
The correct selection of tools – dies and punches – is essential for the final bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can automatically correct deviations to ensure the most accurate results.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may differ in length.
