Automatic backgauge (X axis) and R axis adjustment (manual in option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. using the step bending system.

Optional regulation of fingers in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes by servomotors.

For a satisfactory step bending result, certain calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to achieve a sheet with the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the resulting curve;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and their software are so advanced that in many cases they completely relieve the operator of such tasks.

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a top-class laser safety system, protecting the operator and doubling the bending process efficiency.

We never compromise on safety! Premium hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure full compliance with CE standards.

Warning: pseudo safety systems such as light curtains or frames are not CE-compliant and can expose operators to serious injury. As an employer, you are responsible for the safety of your employees!

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable boom
- LED lighting: improves working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Servo-driven following supports (option*)

Servo-driven following supports allow bending of large sheet formats that rise together with the bending motion, preventing deformation and ensuring a precise angle.
All CORMAK press brakes are equipped with multiple safety systems, including clear warning markings, side covers, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what truly matters are the systems installed in the machine!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stable machine performance parameters even during prolonged continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard split, multi-groove, four-sided dies and divided punches
- Manual AMADA (European) clamping system as standard, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are side-mounted and locked with screws
Punch and die selection
For optimal bending results, proper punch and die selection is essential.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor the bending process and can automatically correct deviations to ensure precise results.

Depending on press force, divided punches and dies may vary in length.
