Automatic adjustment of back gauge (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. step bending system.

Optional finger adjustment in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 on servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory result in step bending, certain calculations are necessary, involving key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the single bending angle and the smoother the resulting arc;
- Distance between bends – spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are advanced enough to automate many aspects, relieving the operator of most tasks.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard high-class laser safety system protects the operator and doubles the bending process speed.

Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure long-term reliability.

CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety at work
- Supports on linear guides
- Servo-driven following supports (option*)

Servo-driven following supports enable bending of large sheets which are lifted at an angle during the bending process to maintain a consistent radius and bend angle.
Each machine is equipped with visible safety markings, side and rear safety guards, and easily accessible emergency stops.
All machines are delivered with a comprehensive user manual.
Possession of CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters is the systems the machine is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even during long continuous use.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard split multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- Manual AMADA (European) clamping system for quick tool change
- Punches mounted laterally and locked with screws
Die and punch selection
Choosing the right tools is crucial for the desired bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure and adjust the bending process to maintain optimal results.

Depending on press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
