Automatic backgauge (X axis) and R axis adjustment (manual in option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. step-bending system.

Optional finger adjustment on axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 using servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory result of step bending, it is necessary to perform specific calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the bent sheet, measured along the inner bending line;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to form a sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller each individual bend angle, resulting in a smoother curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step-bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and their software are so advanced that they relieve the operator from most of the calculations and setup work.
Automatic crowning compensation

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard feature – a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure full reliability during operation.

Beware of pseudo-protective devices such as light barriers or curtains that do not meet CE standards and endanger operator safety. As an employer, you are responsible for the safety of your staff!
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile control panel on a swivel arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety during operation
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up sheet supports (option*)

Follow-up servo-driven sheet supports allow bending of larger sheets by lifting them at an angle during the bending process, preventing deformation and maintaining the desired angle.
CORMAK press brakes are equipped with advanced safety features including clear labelling, side covers, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is delivered with a detailed and comprehensive user manual.
CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – what matters is the actual protection systems installed on the machine.

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard feature ensuring stable machine performance parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Tool clamping and die system:
- Standard configuration includes sectional four-sided multi-groove dies and sectional punches
- The default system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are side-mounted and secured with screws
Tool and die selection
The final bending result also depends on choosing the right combination of punch and die.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending parameters and can automatically correct deviations to achieve the most accurate results.

Depending on the machine’s pressing force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
