Automatic backgauge travel adjustment (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. with the step bending system.

Optional servo control of finger stops in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2.

To achieve a satisfactory result in step bending, certain calculations are required. These, however, demand knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet measured along the inner bending line;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain the desired radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller each bending angle, resulting in a smoother curve;
- Distance between bends – the distance between successive bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they take over most of the operator’s work in this regard.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a constant bending angle across the entire bending length
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a constant bending angle along the entire working length – (option*)

Safety
Laser Safety System
Equipped as standard with a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and doubles the bending process speed.

We never compromise on safety! The machine is equipped with high-quality hydraulic connections and CE-compliant safety valves.

Safety Guards – CE Compliant

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Movable controller on swing arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and work safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports allow bending of larger sheet metal components that are lifted during bending to maintain the correct bending angle and prevent deformation.
Our press brakes are equipped with a set of advanced safety systems including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a comprehensive user manual.
A CE declaration confirms compliance, but real safety depends on the systems the machine is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard feature ensuring stable machine operation parameters even during prolonged use.
Tool Clamping System:
- Standard configuration includes segmented multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- Manual AMADA (European) clamping system allowing quick tool changes
- Punches mounted laterally and locked with bolts
Die and Punch Selection
Proper tool selection is crucial for the final bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and automatically correct deviations during the process to ensure optimal results.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
