Automatic back-gauge travel (X axis) and R axis control (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step-bending method.

Optional finger adjustment in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 using servomotors.

For a satisfactory result in step bending, it is necessary to perform certain calculations, which require understanding of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent section of the sheet, measured along the inner curve;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to achieve the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the individual bending angle and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends performed during the process.
Although step bending may seem complex, the advanced CORMAK press brakes and their software perform most calculations automatically, supporting the operator throughout the process.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire working length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Maintains a consistent bending angle along the entire length of the workpiece – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Included as standard – a top-class laser protection system that safeguards the operator and more than doubles the bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! High-grade hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in Poland ensure full operator protection.

Beware of pseudo-protection systems such as light curtains or safety gates — they do not comply with CE standards and can expose workers to serious injury. As an employer, you are responsible for your employee’s safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on an adjustable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety of work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Servo-driven following supports (option*)

Servo-driven following supports allow bending of larger sheets, lifting them under an angle during the bending process to maintain a precise bend radius and angle.
CORMAK press brakes are equipped with numerous safety systems, including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear, detailed operating manual in English.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – what matters are the systems the machine is actually equipped with!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Included as standard – guarantees stable working parameters even during long-term continuous operation.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard: segmented, multi-groove, four-sided dies and segmented punches
- Manual AMADA-type (European) quick-clamping system for fast tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side and secured with bolts
Choosing the right punch and die
Selecting appropriate tools is essential to achieve the desired bending result. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and automatically compensate deviations during the process to ensure optimal results.

Depending on the machine’s tonnage, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
