Automatic adjustment of backgauge retraction (X axis) and R axis.
R axis facilitating bending of larger radii, e.g. using step bending.

In order for the step bending result to be satisfactory, it is necessary to perform certain calculations, which require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these are:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curve of the bent sheet metal part, measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each single bend and, as a result, a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, the machines and software available at CORMAK are already so advanced that in many aspects they fully support the operator.
Automatic deflection crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle is maintained along the entire bending length

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard-equipped with a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles the bending process speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (oprion*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and material. It enables real-time measurement and correction of the bending angle, significantly improving accuracy and process efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves are designed and manufactured to meet CE standards.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as frames or light curtains, as they do not comply with CE standards and may endanger operator health. As an employer, you are responsible for your employee’s safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improving work comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (oprion*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable bending of larger sheet sizes, lifting the sheet at an angle during bending to prevent deformation and maintain the desired angle.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams; therefore, our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Possession of a CE declaration does not automatically mean a machine is safe — what matters are the safety systems it is fitted with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stability of machine operating parameters even after long periods of continuous operation.
Tool and Die Clamping:
- Standard equipment includes divided multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) system, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Die and punch selection
For the final bending result, it is also important to select the appropriate tools — dies and punches — for the press brake.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can automatically correct deviations during operation to ensure optimal results.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
