Automatic backgauge (X axis) and R axis adjustment (optionally manual). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g., using the step bending method.

Optional servo-motor control of finger stops in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, several calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of the key parameters of the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured on the inner bending side;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet with a specific radius; the more bends, the smaller the angle per bend and the smoother the resulting arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although step bending may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they automate most operations, relieving the operator of many tasks.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a consistent bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a consistent bending angle along the full working length – (option*)

Safety
Laser Safety System
Included as standard: top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending efficiency.

IRIS Plus Laser System (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, providing precise and safe positioning of tools and materials. It allows real-time measurement and correction of bending angles, significantly improving accuracy and productivity.

We never compromise on safety. Top-grade hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure long-term reliability.

Beware of low-quality safety alternatives such as light curtains or gates that may not comply with CE standards and put operators at risk. Employers are responsible for worker safety.
CE-Compliant Safety Guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile control panel on a swivel arm
- LED lighting for improved comfort and visibility
- Front supports on linear guides
- Servo-driven following supports (option*)

Servo-driven following supports allow bending of larger sheets, lifting the material in sync with the ram to maintain the correct bending angle and avoid distortion.
Our machines are equipped with comprehensive CE-compliant safety systems including clear markings, side covers, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear, detailed user manual.
CE certification ensures compliance with European standards; however, true safety depends on the systems fitted to the machine.

SCO – Oil Cooling System
The standard SCO system ensures stable machine performance even during long-term continuous operation.
Tool Clamping System
- Standard multi-groove divided four-sided dies and sectional punches
- The standard CORMAK system is a manual AMADA-type (European) quick-change clamping system allowing fast tool replacement
- Punches are mounted laterally and locked with screws
Choosing the Right Punch and Die
The final bending result depends on selecting the correct punch and die. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure and automatically correct any deviations during the bending process for optimal precision.

Depending on the press force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
