DSP laser safety system
- DSP laser safety system, front supports on linear guides, quick tool clamps, oil cooling system and divided upper and lower tools
Automatic backgauge travel adjustment (X axis) and R axis (optionally manual). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step bending.

Optional adjustment of fingers in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes via servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, certain calculations must be made, requiring knowledge of several key parameters of the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain the desired radius; the higher the number, the smoother the curve;
- Distance between bends – spacing between individual bends during the process.
Although step bending may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are advanced enough to automate many aspects of the operator’s work.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire working length – (option)
Manual crowning compensation (option)

Safety
Laser safety system
Only with us – top-class laser safety system as standard, protecting the operator and doubling the bending process speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced safety solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe tool and material positioning. It enables real-time angle measurement and correction, significantly improving accuracy and process efficiency.

We never compromise on safety! Highest-quality hydraulic fittings and safety valves designed in Poland.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as light curtains or gates, as they do not comply with CE standards and put operators at serious risk. As an employer, you are responsible for your workers’ safety!
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: enhances comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable bending of larger sheets by tilting and supporting the material during bending to maintain the desired angle without deformation.
All CORMAK press brakes are equipped with numerous safety features, including clear markings, side covers, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency stops. Each machine comes with a complete English-language user manual.
Having a CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what truly matters is the system configuration!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard feature ensuring stable machine operation parameters even during long-term continuous use.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard divided multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- Manual AMADA-type (European) tool clamping system allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are side-mounted and clamped with bolts
Selection of die and punch
Proper tool selection is essential to achieving optimal results. CORMAK press brakes perform real-time bending corrections to ensure the most accurate results.

Depending on the press tonnage, the length of segmented punches and dies may vary.
