Automatic back-gauge (axis X) and R-axis adjustment (manual option* available). The R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, for example step-bending systems.

Optional finger adjustment in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servo motors.

To achieve satisfactory results in step bending, certain calculations are necessary – these require knowledge of key parameters of the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to form a sheet of a specified radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and thus a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the step-bending process may appear complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that in many cases they completely assist the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard high-class laser safety system protecting the operator and significantly increasing bending speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced press brake solution ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and material. It enables real-time bending angle measurement and correction, increasing accuracy and production efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for reliability and long-term use.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as gates or light curtains, as they are not CE-compliant and may expose employees to risk. As an employer, you are responsible for the safety of your staff.
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller mounted on an adjustable arm
- LED lighting: improves working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports with servo motors enable bending of larger sheets – they lift the material at a controlled angle to maintain the set radius and prevent deformation during bending.
To ensure the highest safety for users, CORMAK press brakes are equipped with numerous protective elements including clear safety markings, side covers, rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is supplied with a comprehensive user manual.
CE declaration does not guarantee safety by itself – what matters are the actual systems installed on the machine!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Provided as standard to maintain stable machine parameters even during extended continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard multi-groove four-sided divided dies and sectional punches
- Standard manual AMADA-type system (European type) allowing fast tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side and secured with bolts
Choice of die and punch
For optimal results, proper selection of die and punch is essential.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can correct deviations in real-time to achieve the best results.

Depending on press capacity, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
