Automatic adjustment of backgauge movement (X axis) and R axis (optional manual). The R axis facilitates bending larger radii, e.g. using a step bending system.

Optional adjustment of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending effect, certain calculations must be made, which, however, require knowledge of the key parameters related to the bending process, including:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet measured along the inner bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain the desired radius; the more bends, the smaller the single bend angle and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they fully assist the operator in many aspects.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire bending length – (option)
Manual crowning compensation (option)

Safety
Laser safety system
Included as standard – a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and more than doubling the bending process speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced safety solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe tool and material positioning. It allows real-time angle measurement and correction, significantly increasing accuracy and efficiency.

We never compromise on safety! Highest-quality hydraulic fittings and safety valves designed for maximum reliability.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as light curtains or gates, as they do not comply with CE standards and expose workers to serious risk. As an employer, you are responsible for the safety of your staff!
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable bending of larger sheets by tilting and supporting the material during bending, preventing deformation and maintaining the desired angle.
All CORMAK press brakes include numerous safety features such as clear markings, side covers, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency stops. Each machine is supplied with a comprehensive English-language user manual.
Possessing a CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – what matters is the system configuration!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard, ensuring stable operational parameters even during long-term continuous use.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard divided multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- Manual AMADA-type (European) clamping system enabling quick tool changes
- Punches mounted laterally and clamped with bolts
Selection of die and punch
Proper selection of tools is essential to achieving optimal results. CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor and correct bending deviations to maintain maximum precision.

Depending on press tonnage, the length of segmented punches and dies may vary.
