Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. in step bending systems.

Optionally, control of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, it is necessary to perform certain calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these are:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet’s curve measured along the inner side of the bend.
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain the desired bending radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each single bend, resulting in a smoother arc.
- Distance between bends – the distance between the individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they can now completely relieve the operator of many tasks.
Automatic crowning compensation as standard
Ensures the same bending angle across the entire bending length
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures the same bending angle across the entire bending length – (option*)

The machine combines advanced technology with simplicity of use, making it ideal for both precise manual tasks and efficient serial production. High-quality components and advanced safety systems ensure reliability and operator protection.
Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a high-class laser safety system protecting the operator and more than doubling the bending process speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and materials. It enables real-time angle measurement and correction, significantly increasing bending accuracy and productivity.

We do not compromise on safety! The machine features the highest quality hydraulic connections and CE-certified safety valves.

Beware of pseudo-safety solutions such as light curtains or gates, as they may not comply with CE standards and could endanger operators’ safety. As an employer, you are responsible for your employee’s health!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile control panel on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and work safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports with servomotors allow bending of large sheets — during bending, the supports lift the sheet at an angle, preventing distortion and maintaining the required bend angle.
To ensure operator safety, CORMAK press brakes are equipped with numerous safety features, including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a comprehensive user manual.
Having a CE declaration does not automatically mean a machine is safe — what truly matters is the system it is equipped with.

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard feature ensuring stable machine performance parameters even after long continuous operation.
Punch and Die Clamping:
- Standard divided multi-groove four-sided dies and divided punches
- Standard AMADA (European) manual quick-change tool clamping system
- Punches are side-mounted and locked with screws
Die and Punch Selection
Selecting the right punch and die is essential for the desired bending result. CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending and automatically compensate deviations during the process for optimal results.

Depending on the machine’s pressing force, divided punches and dies may vary in length.
