Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual version optional*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. in step bending systems.

Optional adjustment of fingers in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes with servomotors.

For the step bending effect to be satisfactory, certain calculations are necessary. These require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, namely:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet measured along the inner bend line;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends needed to achieve the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller each bending angle, resulting in a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between successive bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they can fully support the operator in many aspects.
Automatic deflection crowning compensation
Ensures a consistent bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual deflection crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and material. It enables real-time bending angle measurement and correction, significantly improving accuracy and efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! The highest quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for full compliance with CE standards.

Beware of pseudo-protection systems like light curtains or gate barriers — they do not comply with CE standards and pose serious safety risks. The employer is responsible for the safety of the operator!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Follow supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow supports allow bending of larger sheets, automatically adjusting the plate angle during bending to maintain shape and angle accuracy.
All CORMAK press brakes are equipped with advanced safety systems including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gate, and accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a detailed user manual.
CE declaration ensures compliance, but true safety depends on the installed systems!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stable machine performance even during long continuous operation.
Tool and Die Clamping:
- Standard split four-sided multi-groove dies and split punches
- Manual AMADA-type clamping system (European standard) allows quick tool changes
- Punches mounted laterally and secured with bolts
Die and Punch Selection
Proper selection of tools – die and punch – is essential for desired bending results.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending parameters and can automatically adjust deviations during operation for optimal results.

Depending on the machine’s pressure force, split punches and dies may vary in length.
