Automatic adjustment of the backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual in option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by the step bending system.

Optional adjustment of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

For a satisfactory step bending result, it is necessary to perform certain calculations, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet measured along the inner bend line;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends needed to achieve a specified bending radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the single bend angle and the smoother the curve;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they completely relieve the operator of most of the calculations and control.
Automatic crowning compensation

Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Only at CORMAK as standard – a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and doubles the bending process speed.

We never compromise on safety! The highest quality hydraulic connections and safety valves are designed for reliability and durability.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as light curtains or gates – they do not comply with CE standards and can endanger employees. As an employer, you are responsible for your workers’ safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on an articulated arm
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety at work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports allow bending of large-format sheets; during bending, they lift the sheet at an angle to prevent distortion and maintain the desired bend angle.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams – our press brakes are equipped with advanced protection systems including visible markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is delivered with a comprehensive user manual.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – the equipment and systems used are what really matter!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard in CORMAK machines – ensures stability of operating parameters even during long continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard four-sided divided multi-groove dies and split punches
- The basic clamping system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
For best results, it is important to select the proper tools – the die and punch.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor the bending process and can automatically correct deviations to achieve optimal results.

Depending on the pressing force, the divided punches and dies may differ in length.
