Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual in option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step bending.

Optional regulation of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory result in step bending, certain calculations are necessary, which however require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet, measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to obtain a curved sheet of a specified radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem quite complex, the machines and software offered by CORMAK are advanced enough to fully support the operator in many aspects.
Automatic deflection compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual deflection compensation (option*)
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

Follow-up supports on servomotors enable bending of large sheet dimensions, lifting the sheet during bending so that the arc maintains the intended angle without deformation.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety systems, including clear markings, side covers, rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Having a CE declaration does not automatically mean a machine is safe. What matters is the safety systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard, this system ensures stable operating parameters of the machine even during long-term continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard split multi-groove four-sided dies and split punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) quick-change system, enabling rapid tool exchange
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Choice of die and punch
For the final bending result, correct selection of the die and punch is essential.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending and can automatically correct deviations during the process for optimal results.

Depending on the press force, split punches and dies may vary in length.
