Automatic backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis adjustment (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending larger radii, e.g. using the step bending system.

Optional finger adjustment in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes driven by servomotors.

For the step bending effect to be satisfactory, certain calculations are required, which depend on several key parameters of the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent part’s curve, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends needed to obtain the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle per bend and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between successive bends made during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that in many aspects they fully support the operator, ensuring repeatable and precise results.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures uniform bending angle along the entire length of the part – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures consistent bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Only at CORMAK as standard – the highest-class laser safety system that protects the operator and doubles the bending speed.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for industrial durability.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as light barriers or gates that do not comply with CE standards — they pose serious risks to workers. The employer is legally responsible for employee safety.
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile control unit on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases work comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up sheet supports (option*)

Follow-up supports with servomotors allow bending of larger sheets by raising them during bending to maintain a precise angle and prevent deformation.
CORMAK press brakes are designed with operator safety in mind, equipped with clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Having a CE declaration alone does not guarantee full safety – what matters is the system equipment.

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard system ensuring stable machine parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard split multi-groove four-sided dies and split punches
- Manual AMADA (European) system allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are side-mounted and secured with bolts
Selection of die and punch
The choice of tooling is crucial for the final bending result. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically adjust for deviations during the process to achieve optimal accuracy.

Depending on the press force, split punches and dies may vary in length.
