Automatic adjustment of the backgauge travel (X-axis) and R-axis (manual in option*). The R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, for example, by the step bending system.

Optionally, finger adjustment in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve satisfactory results in step bending, it is necessary to perform certain calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet measured along the inner bend line.
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to achieve a specific radius; the higher the number, the smaller the single bending angle, resulting in a smoother curve.
- Distance between bends – the distance between successive bends performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they automate most of the operations, making the operator’s work significantly easier.
Automatic crowning compensation

Safety
Laser Safety System
Only at CORMAK — a top-class laser safety system provided as standard, protecting the operator and more than doubling the bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for optimal reliability.

Beware of pseudo-protective devices such as light curtains or gates — they do not comply with CE standards and may endanger operators’ health. Remember — as the employer, you are responsible for the safety of your workers!
CE-Compliant Safety Guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting for better visibility and comfort
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports with servomotors enable bending of larger sheets, which are lifted synchronously during bending, preventing deformation and ensuring the desired angle.
Our press brakes include advanced safety systems such as clear labelling, side covers, rear safety gates and easily accessible emergency switches.
Each machine is supplied with a comprehensive user manual.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters is the protection system it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard, this system ensures stable machine operation parameters even during extended continuous operation.
Tool Clamping and Dies:
- Divided four-sided multi-groove dies and segmented punches included as standard
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool changes.
- Punches are mounted from the side and locked with screws.
Selection of Punch and Die
The final result depends on selecting the right tooling — both punch and die. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and automatically correct deviations to ensure optimal results.

Depending on the press tonnage, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
