Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. step bending system.

Optional control of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory result in step bending, certain calculations are required, which, however, demand knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to achieve the desired radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller the angle per bend and thus a smoother curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are advanced enough to handle most of the calculations automatically, making operation easier for the user.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures uniform bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures consistent bending angle along the entire working length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard equipment includes a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and significantly increasing bending efficiency.

We never compromise on safety. High-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed to meet European CE standards.

Warning: avoid using light curtain or gate-type pseudo safety systems that do not comply with CE standards. Employers are responsible for the safety of their operators.
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller mounted on an adjustable arm
- LED lighting improves work comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable the bending of large sheets by lifting the material during bending, ensuring consistent radius and precision.
Our press brakes are equipped with numerous advanced safety features including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Possession of a CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters is the implemented safety system!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard feature ensuring stable machine operation parameters even during long continuous work cycles.
Tool and Die Clamping:
- Standard four-sided multi-groove segmented dies and divided punches
- Manual quick-change AMADA (European) type clamping system allowing fast tool replacement
- Punches are mounted from the side and locked with screws
Die and Punch Selection
Proper selection of dies and punches is essential for the final bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and automatically adjust them to achieve optimal results.

Depending on the machine’s tonnage, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
