Automatic back-gauge (X-axis) and R-axis control (manual option available). The R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. in step-bending processes.

Optional servo-motor adjustment of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2.

For a satisfactory result of step bending, it is necessary to perform certain calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these are:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the bent sheet, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a bent sheet with a defined radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend, resulting in a smoother curve;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem quite complex, the machines and software available from CORMAK are so advanced that in many aspects they completely relieve the operator of these calculations.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures that the same bending angle is maintained along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a consistent bending angle across the entire working length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Included as standard: a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending process speed.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in Poland.

Beware of pseudo safety systems like light curtains or gates – they do not comply with CE norms and may endanger workers’ safety. As an employer, you are responsible for the well-being of your staff!
CE-compliant safety enclosures

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on articulated arm
- LED lighting: increases work comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up sheet supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable bending of larger sheets by lifting them synchronously during bending to maintain a constant angle and prevent deformation.
We care about our clients’ safety – our press brakes are equipped with numerous advanced safety features, including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a detailed operating manual in English.
Having a CE declaration does not automatically mean the machine is safe — what matters are the systems it is equipped with!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard – ensures stability of operating parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Tool clamping systems:
- Divided multi-groove, four-sided dies and sectional punches included as standard
- The standard system in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) quick-change system for easy tool replacement
- Punches are side-mounted and locked using bolts
Die and punch selection
For best results, proper selection of die and punch is crucial. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically adjust deviations during operation for optimal results.

Depending on press force, divided punches and dies may vary in length.
