Automatic back gauge (X axis) and R axis control, with optional manual adjustment. The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. in step bending systems.

Optional control of fingers in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes on servomotors.

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, certain calculations are necessary. These require knowledge of the main parameters related to the bending process, which are:
- Arc length – distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to obtain a sheet with a specific radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller each individual bending angle and the smoother the curve;
- Distance between bends – distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and their software are advanced enough to automate most of the operator’s tasks.

Safety
Laser safety system
Equipped as standard with a high-class laser safety system, protecting the operator and doubling the bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! The machine uses top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as gates or light curtains, as they do not comply with CE standards and put employees at risk. As an employer, you are responsible for their safety!
CE-compliant safety covers

Ergonomics and additional features:
- Mobile controller on an articulated arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety at work
- Supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports on servomotors enable bending of larger sheets that lift during bending, preventing deformation and maintaining the desired bending angle.
We care about the safety of our clients and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a comprehensive range of safety features — including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gate, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The CE declaration alone does not ensure safety — what matters is the systems installed in the machine!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard equipment ensuring stable operating parameters even during long continuous work.
Tool clamping system:
- Standard configuration includes split multi-groove four-sided dies and sectional punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) quick-change system, allowing fast tool replacement
- Punches are side-mounted and locked with bolts
Selection of die and punch
The correct selection of tools — die and punch — is essential for achieving optimal bending results.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending parameters and automatically correct deviations during operation to ensure optimal accuracy.

Depending on press force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
