Automatic adjustment of back gauge (X axis) and R axis travel (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending with larger radii, for example with the step bending system.

Optional regulation of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 on servo motors (option*).

For a satisfactory step bending effect, certain calculations are required which involve knowledge of key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved sheet section measured along the inner bend radius;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to achieve the desired bend radius; the greater the number, the smaller each bend angle and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, the machines and software offered by CORMAK are advanced enough to automate most operations, significantly supporting the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures consistent bending angle along the entire bending length (option*).
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire bending length (option*).

Safety
Laser safety system
Equipped as standard with a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles the bending process speed.

We never compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves are used to ensure maximum reliability.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as light curtains or gates — they are not CE compliant and may endanger workers. Remember: as an employer, you are responsible for your employees’ safety.
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on an adjustable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety of work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Servo-following supports (option*)

Servo-following supports allow bending of larger sheets. During bending, the supports lift the sheet at an angle to prevent deformation and maintain the desired bend angle.
Cormak press brakes are equipped with advanced safety systems including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is delivered with a clear and detailed user manual.
CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters is the safety system used!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard system ensuring stable operating parameters even after long, continuous operation.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard split four-sided dies and divided punches
- Standard AMADA (European) quick-release manual clamping system for fast tool changes
- Punches are side-mounted and secured with screws
Die and punch selection
Selecting the correct tools is essential for achieving the desired bending results.
Cormak press brakes perform continuous bend measurements and automatically correct deviations during operation to ensure optimum precision.

Depending on the press force, split punches and dies may vary in length.
