Automatic backgauge (X axis) and R axis adjustment (manual option available). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. with a step bending system.

Optional servo-driven finger adjustment in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes (option*).

To achieve a satisfactory step-bending result, it is necessary to perform certain calculations that require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, including:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the individual bend angle, resulting in a smoother arc;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between consecutive bends made during the process.
Although the step-bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that in many respects they completely relieve the operator from these calculations.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire length of the sheet – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

Safety
Laser Safety System
Standard on all our models – a top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and increasing bending speed by over two times.

We never compromise on safety! Premium hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for maximum durability and operator protection.

Beware of pseudo safety barriers or light curtains that are not CE-compliant and can endanger operators. As an employer, you are responsible for your worker’s safety!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on adjustable arm
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety during operation
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up sheet supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports allow bending of larger sheets by lifting the plate during bending to maintain a constant bending radius and angle.
To ensure the safety of our customers and their teams, CORMAK press brakes are equipped with advanced protection systems including clear labelling, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is supplied with a detailed English user manual.
The CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what matters are the systems installed in the machine!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard equipment ensuring stable machine parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Tool clamping and dies:
- Standard equipment includes divided multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The standard CORMAK press brake clamping system is manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool change
- Punches are side-mounted and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
For an optimal final result, the correct choice of press brake tools — punch and die — is essential.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically correct deviations during the process to achieve optimal accuracy.

Depending on press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
