Automatic backgauge (X-axis) and R-axis travel adjustment (manual option available). The R-axis facilitates the bending of larger radii, e.g. using a step bending system.

Optional finger regulation in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 using servomotors (option*).

To achieve a satisfactory step bending result, certain calculations must be performed, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, such as:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to obtain a sheet bent to a specific radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between successive bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are already so advanced that they take over most of the operator’s work.
Automatic deflection compensation
Ensures consistent bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual deflection compensation (option*)
Ensures a uniform bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Only at CORMAK as standard – the highest-class laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending speed.

We never compromise on safety! Top-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves designed for industrial durability.

Beware of pseudo-safety systems such as barriers or light curtains that do not comply with CE standards, as they endanger workers’ safety. The employer is legally responsible for employee protection!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile control panel on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves comfort and safety at work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up sheet supports (option*)

Follow-up supports with servomotors allow bending of larger sheets by raising them during bending to maintain a precise angle and prevent deformation.
CORMAK press brakes are designed with user safety in mind, equipped with clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine comes with a clear and detailed user manual.
Having a CE declaration alone does not ensure safety – the equipment of the system is what truly matters.

SCO – Oil cooling system
Standard system ensuring stable machine parameters even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard split multi-groove four-sided dies and split punches
- Manual AMADA (European) system allowing quick tool changes
- Punches mounted from the machine side and secured with bolts
Die and punch selection
The final bending effect largely depends on proper tool selection. CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically correct deviations during the process to ensure optimal results.

Depending on press force, split punches and dies may vary in length.
