Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (axis X) and axis R (manual in option*). The R-axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. by step-bending system.

Optionally, finger adjustment in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 using servomotors.

For a satisfactory result in step-bending, certain calculations are required, involving the key parameters of the bending process:
- Arc length – distance between the ends of the curved part of the sheet, measured on the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends necessary to obtain the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each one and the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – spacing between consecutive bends made during the process.
Although the step-bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are advanced enough to automate most of these calculations and assist the operator throughout the procedure.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures consistent bending angle along the entire length of the workpiece – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard high-class laser safety system ensures operator protection and increases bending process speed by over twice.

Premium-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure full reliability and protection.

Safety guards compliant with CE standards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves operator comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports on servomotors allow bending of large sheets that automatically lift during bending to maintain the desired angle without deformation.
CORMAK press brakes are equipped with advanced safety systems, including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and accessible emergency stops.
Each machine is delivered with a comprehensive and detailed user manual.
The CE declaration alone does not ensure safety – appropriate systems and equipment are crucial.

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard equipment ensuring stable working parameters even during long and continuous operation.
Tool clamping system:
- Standard multi-groove, four-sided sectional dies and divided punches
- Manual AMADA-type (European) clamping system for quick tool changeovers
- Punches mounted from the machine side and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
Proper tool selection – die and punch – is crucial for achieving the desired bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending parameters and automatically correct deviations during the process for optimal results.

Depending on the press tonnage, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
