Automatic retraction control of backgauges (axis X) and axis R (manual option*). Axis R facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. step bending system.

Optional adjustment of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 by servomotors.

For a satisfactory step bending effect, it is necessary to perform certain calculations requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process, which include:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved sheet section measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a sheet with a defined radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the resulting curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between each individual bend performed during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are now advanced enough to automate many of these operations entirely, relieving the operator of most tasks.
Automatic deflection compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire length of the bend – (option*)
Manual deflection compensation (option*)
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire length of the bend – (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Standard on all our machines – a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and doubles the bending process speed.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and materials. It enables real-time angle measurement and correction, significantly improving bending accuracy and efficiency.

We never compromise on safety! Highest-class hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure reliability and protection.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as light curtains or gates that are not CE compliant – these can endanger employees. The employer is responsible for ensuring worker safety!
CE-compliant safety covers

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile control panel on movable arm
- LED lighting: improves working comfort and safety
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports allow bending of larger sheets by automatically lifting them to maintain the correct angle and prevent distortion.
We care about operator and workplace safety. Our press brakes are equipped with multiple safety systems, including clear markings, side covers, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a detailed user manual.
Possession of CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — equipment configuration and safety systems matter!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard feature ensuring stable operating parameters even during long continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard divided multi-groove four-sided dies and sectional punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) system, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Selection of die and punch
For optimal bending results, proper tool selection is crucial. CORMAK press brakes continuously monitor bending parameters and can automatically compensate for deviations during operation to ensure precision.

Depending on the press force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
