Automatic adjustment of backgauge retraction (X axis) and R axis (manual oprion*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g. step bending systems.

Optional* adjustment of fingers in axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 on servo motors.

In order to achieve a satisfactory step bending result, it is necessary to perform certain calculations, which require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process – these include:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved bent section of the sheet, measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends that must be performed to obtain a bent sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, as a result, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends performed during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are already so advanced that in many aspects they completely relieve the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (oprion*)
Manual crowning compensation (oprion*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Only with us as standard, a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and accelerates the bending process by more than two times.

IRIS Plus laser system (oprion*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, ensuring precise and safe positioning of tools and material. It enables real-time measurement and correction of the bending angle, significantly increasing accuracy and process efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-class hydraulic connections and safety valves designed in Poland.

Beware of pseudo safety systems such as gates or light curtains, as they are not compliant with CE certification and may expose employees to health risks. As an employer, you are responsible for your employees’ safety.
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (oprion*)

Servo-driven follow-up supports enable bending of large-format sheets which, together with the bending motion, lift the sheet at an angle so that the bent arc does not deform and maintains the set angle.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams; therefore, our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has CE certification does not automatically mean it is safe. What matters is which systems it is equipped with.

SCO – Oil Cooling System
As standard, a system ensuring stable machine operating parameters even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- As standard, segmented multi-groove four-sided dies and segmented punches
- The primary system used in CORMAK press brakes is a manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws
Selection of dies and punches
For the final result, the correct selection of press brake tooling – dies and punches – is also crucial.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure the bending process and can correct deviations during operation to achieve the most optimal result.
Training and Machine Commissioning
