Automatic rear gauge (X axis) and R axis adjustment (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending larger radii, e.g. by step bending method.

Optional servo-driven finger adjustment in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes.

For satisfactory step bending results, certain calculations are necessary, which require knowledge of key parameters related to the bending process – these include:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the sheet, measured along the inner side of the bend.
- Number of bends – the number of single bends required to achieve the desired bend radius; the higher the number of bends, the smaller the individual bend angle, resulting in a smoother curve.
- Distance between bends – the spacing between each consecutive bend made during the process.
Although step bending may seem complex, CORMAK machines and software are now advanced enough to automate much of the process, assisting the operator at every stage.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a consistent bending angle along the entire length of the sheet – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Equipped as standard with a top-class laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles bending efficiency.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system provides precise and safe tool and material positioning, enabling real-time angle measurement and correction to enhance accuracy and efficiency of bending.

We do not compromise on safety! Top-grade hydraulic connections and safety valves ensure machine reliability and operator protection.

CE-compliant safety guards

Tool clamping system
- Standard split four-way multi-groove dies and segmented punches.
- Manual AMADA (European) system for quick tool changes.
- Punches mounted from the side and locked with screws.
Die and punch selection
Proper selection of die and punch is essential to achieve the desired final bending result. CORMAK press brakes perform continuous bend measurements and can automatically correct deviations during operation to ensure optimal results.

Depending on press force, segmented punches and dies may differ in length.
