Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual in option*). The R axis facilitates bending of larger radii, e.g., using the step bending system.

Optional regulation of fingers in Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 axes by servomotors.

For a satisfactory result of step bending, certain calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet with the desired radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each bend and the smoother the resulting curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step bending process may seem complex, CORMAK machines and their software are so advanced that they take over many operations from the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures a consistent bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser Safety System
Supplied as standard — top-class laser safety system protecting the operator and increasing bending speed more than twofold.

We never compromise on safety! The hydraulic connections and safety valves are designed with utmost precision and comply with CE standards.

Safety Guards Compliant with CE

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases comfort and safety at work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Follow-up supports (option*)

Follow-up supports on servomotors allow bending of larger sheet sizes. During bending, they lift the workpiece at an angle to prevent deformation and maintain the correct bending radius.
CORMAK press brakes are equipped with numerous advanced safety features, including clear markings, side and rear guards, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
Having a CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety — what truly matters are the installed protection systems.

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Supplied as standard, ensuring stable performance parameters even during long-term, continuous operation.
Tool Clamping System:
- Standard equipment includes divided, multi-groove four-sided dies and sectional punches
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type, allowing quick tool changes
- Punches are mounted from the machine side and locked with bolts
Die and Punch Selection
For optimal results, correct selection of press brake tools—die and punch—is essential.
CORMAK press brakes monitor the bending process in real time and can automatically compensate deviations to achieve optimal precision.

Depending on the press force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.
