Design and Technology
CORMAK SL1500 is based on a 1080 nm fiber laser source, ensuring stable parameters and long component life. The laser head is connected via a 7-metre fibre cable to the main unit, allowing comfortable operation even in hard-to-reach areas. A water-cooling system and integrated connections for shielding gases ensure stable and safe operation during continuous duty cycles.
Precision and Performance
The system achieves a penetration depth of up to 3.59 mm for stainless steel and 2.77 mm for carbon steel, producing strong, sealed and repeatable welds. A welding speed range up to 120 mm/s enables fast serial production while maintaining precision beyond MIG/MAG methods. The smooth weld surface reduces the need for additional mechanical finishing.
