Construction and technology

The conventional CORMAK GOLIAT lathe is designed for long-term and intensive operation. Its 400 mm wide bed is induction-hardened, ensuring wear resistance and precise carriage guidance. The solid frame and rolling elements guarantee rigidity and minimise vibration during operation.

The spindle with a 105 mm bore and D1-8 nose is mounted on precision bearings, providing smooth operation and high rotational stability in the range of 26–1,700 rpm. The longitudinal and cross-feed system with an extended range (0.044–1.48 mm/rev) allows for precise and smooth machining of components with varied geometry.

Precision and performance

The machine ensures high turning accuracy even when working with heavy or long parts. It supports tools up to 25 x 25 mm, while the robust tool posts guarantee secure clamping and reduced vibrations. The cooling system and halogen lighting provide operator comfort and extend tool life.
