Machine characteristics
The CORMAK BS128 HDRC metal bandsaw, featuring an optimal cutting range and designed for professional craftsmen, stands out for its efficiency and ease of use. It has a pivoting arm that can rotate in both directions, which is a great advantage when cutting materials at an angle. Despite its compact size but substantial weight (109 kg), the machine is very stable and does not vibrate when cutting larger materials, unlike lightweight machines. The workpiece can be fed manually or by any feeding device. The feed during cutting is gravitational, based on the oil flow in a double-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The appropriate arm lowering speed is achieved using a valve that regulates the oil flow between the cylinder chambers. The straightness of the cut is ensured by a set of bearings guiding the blade. It is equipped as standard with an automatic limit switch and an ON/OFF switch in accordance with IP 54. The saw frame swivels for double mitre cutting from -45° to +60°.
