The industrial CORMAK GOLIAT 800x3000 metal lathe features a solid cast-iron bed structure equipped with a 12-speed gearbox and a powerful 7.5kW / 400V induction motor – ensuring maximum torque and a large spindle bore of 105 mm. Recommended for machining hard steels and mechanical turning, it enables internal and external turning, taper turning, metric and inch threading, drilling and broaching. The GOLIAT series lathe has been designed specifically for industrial production of large components. Ideal for serial and medium-scale manufacturing in industrial applications.

Main advantages:

- The universal lathe GOLIAT 800 x 3000 (CJ6280QC/3000) can be used for various tasks such as internal and external turning, taper turning, polishing, metric, inch, module and DP threading, drilling and broaching.
- Solid cast-iron bed construction ensures maximum vibration reduction. Additionally, the bed is hardened and precisely ground. The lathe bed is highly resistant to torsion and vibration, fulfilling the key condition for accurate turning.

- Central feed control system, with leadscrew and feed shaft for threading.

- Digital readout operates in three axes of movement: longitudinal, cross and top slide. The electronic signal from optical rulers is displayed as precise movement values on the digital screen.
- The lathe is equipped with a high-quality, reinforced spindle bearing system. The main spindle is supported by modern ball bearings.

- Optimal performance ensured by the large spindle bore 105 mm, centre distance 3000 mm, 3-jaw chuck 315 mm, bed width 500 mm, and a powerful 7.5kW motor.
- Rapid longitudinal and cross feed system significantly shortens machining time and increases productivity.

- Hardened and ground gears in the spindle gearbox ensure long-term operational stability.
- Equipped with a leadscrew and feed shaft for threading and automatic longitudinal and cross feeds.
- Easy regulation of spindle speed and automatic feed rate via an ergonomic control panel on the gearbox.
- Thread dial indicator allows accurate counting of thread revolutions, saving time by enabling manual quick return of the carriage to its original position after disengaging the half-nut.
- The bed features a removable bridge for machining larger workpieces such as discs. This lathe model allows machining of parts with a maximum diameter of 900 mm with the bridge removed.
