Construction and technology

The CORMAK PT265 is a modern thicknesser for wood based on a heavy-duty cast-iron frame. The working tables are ground and balanced to ensure repeatability and accuracy. The new table system enables synchronous height adjustment – once set, the table plane remains fixed and requires no recalibration when changing thickness. The centrally positioned thicknessing table on a column ensures even material feed without deflection. Rubber anti-vibration feet further reduce noise and vibration, improving component longevity and machining quality.

Precision and performance

With its 2.6 kW (S6) motor, the machine provides high efficiency while maintaining consistent performance, even when machining hard wood. The 75 mm cutterhead with three knives rotating at 4,000 rpm guarantees an exceptionally smooth surface finish. A precise graduated scale allows for accurate height adjustment. The aluminium tilting fence (700 × 150 mm) with 90–45° adjustment enables precise edge planing at variable angles.
