A planer-thicknesser, also known as a jointer, is a device designed for the initial processing of raw and hardwood as well as softwood (sawn timber). The conversion from planer to thicknesser is very quick and easy. It consists of unlocking the eccentrics and lifting the tables and moving the chip extraction cover.
