The CORMAK PT310 planer thicknesser is an advanced woodworking machine that combines the functions of a surface planer and a thicknesser in a single robust unit. Construction and technology
The PT310 model is based on a heavy-duty frame and precision-ground cast-iron tables, ensuring long life and structural rigidity. The main controls – including the thicknessing table height adjustment wheel – are ergonomically positioned on the right-hand side of the machine. The tilting fence with a clear scale allows precise adjustments within a 90–45° range. The reinforced thicknessing table column provides consistent accuracy across the entire working width.
Precision and performance
The Ø75 mm cutterhead equipped with three HSS knives 310 × 25 × 3 mm rotates at 5500 rpm, producing perfectly smooth surfaces. Maximum planing width is 310 mm, while the thicknessing height range is 5–225 mm. Feed rate of 6 m/min ensures efficient work even with larger pieces. The planing depth of up to 4 mm significantly shortens material preparation time.
