Drum sander CORMAK MM3166P 230V is an advanced through-feed machine designed for precise sanding of solid wood, MDF boards, veneer and other joinery materials. Thanks to the use of two sanding drums and a working width of 635 mm, this model is ideal for series production and workshops requiring a high-quality surface finish.
Main advantages of the machine
- Two sanding drums with a diameter of 150 mm ensure even sanding without the risk of burns or scratches.
- Belt conveyor ensures smooth transport of the processed material and stable guidance of the workpiece under the sanding unit.
- Feed speed adjustment within the range of 1.8 – 7.3 m/min enables the working pace to be adapted to the type of material.
- Dust extraction system with two Ø100 mm ports ensures efficient removal of chips and dust, increasing working comfort and component durability.
- Solid industrial construction with a weight of 220 kg ensures machine stability even during intensive use.
Construction and technology
The MM3166P model has been designed with stability, precision and durability in mind. The main frame made of steel guarantees resistance to vibration and deformation. The 2.2 kW main motor drives the sanding rollers at a rotational speed of 1800 rpm, enabling effective removal of excess material even when working with hard wood species.
The 120 W feed motor works together with speed adjustment, allowing the operator to precisely control the sanding process. The large belt width – 635 mm – enables wide elements to be processed in a single working pass, minimising operating time.
Precision and working efficiency
The machine offers accurate thickness control of the workpiece within the range from 7 to 130 mm. The sanding belt speed of 14 m/s guarantees high surface quality without a scorching effect. The roller diameter and working shaft length (635 mm) translate into even contact pressure and a uniform final result.
