The main motor (1.5/2.2 kW S1/S6) combined with the reinforced feed motor (60 W) provides sufficient power reserve for continuous and demanding use. The variable feed speed system (0–4 m/min) allows the operator to adjust the pace to the material type and desired surface quality.

The sanding belt 2100 × 75 mm drives a high-speed drum (2800 rpm), enabling fast and effective material removal. The sanding drum is self-cooling during operation, preventing surface overheating. The side guide has been reinforced to improve alignment and maintain stable sanding across the full working width.

Precision and performance

The CORMAK MM3146 drum belt sander guarantees consistent results thanks to its mechanical height adjustment system with a precision scale. The minimum workpiece height is 3.5 mm and the maximum 100 mm, allowing the machining of thin boards as well as thick structural components.
