LASER CUTTING PROCESS
Laser cutting is a modern and widely used material processing technique. The cutting tool in this process is a high-energy-density laser beam that cuts through the material.
Laser cutting process sequence
The laser cutting process is based on the interaction of the laser beam at its focal point, where its power is the highest, causing rapid melting, evaporation, ablation and heating of the cut material to the ignition temperature. The point where the beam hits the material is flushed with a fast-flowing gas which, moving along the beam axis, removes the molten material.

Professional liquid chiller included
It contains a cooling medium that, when the liquid reaches the alarm temperature, quickly cools the laser tube’s cooling system using the built-in compressor.
Features of the LASER-2040EVO set
- Blade table — ideal for cutting materials such as plexiglass, aspect, etc.
- Two lower fume extractors perform the extraction function.
- Waste drawer
- "Red dot pointer" — precisely displays the laser beam working point, essential for positioning.
- Integrated compressor — activated only during operation, used to protect the lens from contamination and to cool the currently cut material area.
- Fume extraction fan.
- Laser head with 160W (RECI W6 tube) (option*: 60W, 80W, 90W, 130W, 180W).
- Professional chiller.
- USB communication — allows connection of the machine to a portable computer (notebook) via USB port. The machine also features an LCD display allowing, among other things, table height adjustment.
- USB port — built-in memory allows transferring files with operating parameters directly to the device without a computer.
- USB memory 512MB for file transfer.
