KS is the only saw in its class that can cut both left and right, simply by adjusting and closing the vice: once the element is secured, the user can set the angle and rotate the arc without having to open the vice and move the material. The vice moves transversely to the work surface, allowing for quick approach.

• The cutting machine frame is made of electro-welded tubular steel, which ensures great stability during cutting. Like all IMET saws, the KS also has a high band tension (2000 kg/cm²) and a 6° tilted saw blade, which allows for better material feeding and optimized cutting even with large cross-sections and solid material.

• The wide work table fully supports the material. The operation is very user-friendly thanks to the automatic stops from 0° to 60° left/right and the angle scale on the work table, which allows precise setting of the cutting angle.

• To increase cutting precision, IMET saws are equipped with a system to detect the degree of cutting deviation from the center.

• Mechanical material detection device allows for quick approach to the material and automatic detection of the first cutting point. The material end is managed by a microswitch on the tape guide, which allows the blade to be perfectly positioned thanks to the hard metal plates and auxiliary bearings.

• To control all machine settings, the KS has an independently mounted control panel and a mobile console, equipped with LED backlighting for tape tension, blade guard, metal guard opening, motor overheating and electrical voltage control.

• The control panel also allows you to set cutting parameters such as: lowering the arc and managing the end cycle (can be set in 3 ways: raising the arc after stopping the tape, lowering without moving the arc, or ending the cycle without raising the arc).
