The CORMAK OS1400 has also been designed for convenient operation and stable performance over time. It therefore features an automatic pneumatic filter cleaning system. In practice, this means that accumulated contaminants are regularly dislodged from the filter without the need for frequent manual intervention in the unit.
This provides two benefits: firstly, the extractor maintains a consistent performance level and, secondly, service interruptions and operating costs are reduced. This is extremely important in a production environment, as every unplanned interruption and reduction in suction affects the workflow and the quality of conditions at the workstation.
Adjustable extraction power to suit the task
An additional advantage is the adjustment of fume and gas flow at the extraction inlet. This solution allows the extraction power to be adapted to actual requirements: one setting may be suitable for short spot welds, another for extended continuous welding and another for grinding work. Adjustment at the inlet enables quick configuration to suit the operator without time-consuming changes to the setup.
This makes it easier to maintain a balance between effective extraction and working comfort, for example when handling smaller workpieces where excessively strong suction could make it more difficult to manipulate the component.
