Healthier and safer working environment

Welding fumes are not only an unpleasant smell and reduced visibility. Above all, they are a mixture of very fine particles and compounds which, in enclosed halls, can quickly worsen working conditions. The OS2400 was created to capture fumes and gases where they are generated, before they spread around the workstation and throughout the hall. This allows the operator to work in a cleaner environment, while making it easier to maintain occupational health and safety standards and order at workstations.

High performance in demanding conditions

The key advantage of the OS2400 is the combination of high extraction force with high airflow (m³/h). In practice, this means stable and effective extraction of contaminants even when work is intensive and there is a lot of smoke, for example during continuous welding, joining thicker elements or longer weld penetrations. High performance helps limit smoke “escaping” around the working area and improves visibility, which directly translates into work quality and welder comfort.

Quiet operation – greater comfort at the workstation

The high operating culture of the unit is also very important in everyday use. The OS2400 is equipped with a soundproofed fan chamber, which reduces noise and allows the unit to work close to the welding workstation. This is especially important in workshops and halls where several workstations operate at the same time and every additional noise matters. Quieter operation makes communication at the workstation easier, improves operator concentration and genuinely increases comfort throughout the entire shift.

Automatic filter cleaning – consistent performance

In the CORMAK OS2400, emphasis has also been placed on ease of operation and stable performance over time. For this reason, an automatic pneumatic filter cleaning system has been used. In practice, this means that the filter is regularly “pulsed” to remove accumulated contaminants without the need for frequent manual intervention in the unit.

The result is twofold: firstly — the extractor maintains performance at a constant level, and secondly — you reduce service interruptions and operating costs. In a production environment, this is extremely important, because every unplanned stoppage and drop in extraction force affects the work rhythm and the quality of conditions at the workstation.

Extraction force adjustment matched to the work

An additional advantage is the adjustment of fume and gas flow at the suction port. This solution makes it possible to match the extraction force to actual needs: it will be different for short spot welds, different for long continuous welding, and different again for grinding work. Adjustment at the port provides quick “operator-specific” setting without time-consuming configuration changes.

This makes it easier to maintain a balance between extraction efficiency and working comfort, for example with smaller workpieces where overly aggressive extraction could make manipulating the element more difficult.

Solid construction and mobility

The OS2400 is equipment for everyday use, so strong emphasis has been placed on high build quality. The solid construction performs well in workshop and industrial conditions — wherever units are moved, operate for many hours a day and must withstand intensive use.

Mobility makes it easier to use the extractor at different workstations without investing in a fixed installation throughout the entire hall. This is a practical solution both for companies with several workstations and for those that often change their work layout or carry out different jobs.

Wide range of applications

In practice, the OS2400 will work wherever air contaminants are generated: during welding (MIG/MAG, TIG), locksmith work, grinding and other processes generating dust and fumes. Its purpose is to improve working conditions by reducing contaminants in the operator’s breathing zone. This is a solution that affects team health, working comfort, and also the perception of the plant as a modern and safe workplace.
