Machine Description
Ultimate press brakes are advanced tools used in industry for edge processing and bending of materials. It is a versatile device that enables precise and effective finishing of the edges of various types of materials such as steel, aluminium, and plastics.
Ultimate press brakes have been designed for efficiency and reliability. It is equipped with a robust structure that ensures stability during operation. The machines also feature advanced control systems that allow programming of various operating parameters such as edging speed, bending angle, and pressing force.
One of the main advantages of Ultimate press brakes is their ease of use. The intuitive user interface allows the operator to programme and control the machining process easily. In addition, the presses are equipped with advanced safety systems that ensure safe use. Thanks to their high efficiency, EASY press brakes are an ideal solution for manufacturers who require fast and precise edge processing. They can be used in various industries such as the metal industry, joinery, furniture manufacturing, and the plastics industry.
Why choose a CORMAK press brake?
Its design places emphasis on versatility of application, and thanks to this it is suitable not only for bending sheet metal but also for folding and corrugating it, while during each of these operations it does not lose what matters most: reliability and precision.
A European-made press, manufactured in accordance with all machinery directives.
With a CE certification.
World-renowned manufacturers’ components were used in production, such as Bosch Rexroth pumps, Schneider Electric electrical components, servo motors, and Cybelec or Delem control systems
Heavy and stable frame construction to ensure precise operation
Laser protection system as standard
Laser operator hand protection: DSP
The system works only during the rapid approach of the beam.
It enables the lowest points above the material for switching the approach speed to working speed.
It does not require special pedal pressing sequences.
It allows quick tool changes (automatic positioning of the transmitter and receiver after changing the tool to a type of different length)
It does not require stopping in box mode
It does not increase cycle time when bending in box mode compared to other safeguards
It allows bending of material with an uneven surface (e.g. corrugated, uneven, dirty sheet metal), thanks to changing to slow speed at any point of the rapid movement.
EASY-TO-USE (INTUITIVE) DELEM DA-53TX CONTROL

Y1, Y2 axes - these are the axes responsible for the operation of the bending beam. Y1 is the left side and Y2 is the right side. Control of the entire bending process is handled by the CNC system by means of a hydraulic system integrated with the measuring system, which consists of measuring scales located on the left and right sides of the machine. CNC-controlled press brakes are synchronous machines, meaning they have independent control of the left and right cylinders, allowing free correction of parallelism and correction of the bending angle independently on both Y1 and Y2 sides.
X - this is the axis responsible for the movement of the backgauge in the front-rear plane. It is responsible for maintaining the dimension of the bent sides of the workpiece. It is driven by a stepper motor or servo drive, while the drive transmission mechanism consists of ball screws. The encoder is responsible for determining the position and accuracy of the gauge. CNC controls can automatically calculate the X position in order to obtain the appropriate bending dimension, taking into account thickness, material type, the tools used, bending angle, and whether the dimension on the drawing is external or internal.
R - this is also a machine gauge axis, responsible for movement in the up-down plane. It is usually driven by a transmission controlled by a servo drive. The encoder is also responsible for position and accuracy. The zero point for the R axis is the height of the die currently installed on the press table. In modern CNC controls, the gauge fingers have several reference planes or sheet support positions; after selecting the gauge position in the control, the machine automatically corrects the R height and the X position of the gauge.
Standard equipment:
DELEM DA-53TX controller
Front laser safety system
Controlled axes Y1-Y2-X-R
Rear gauge distance adjustment (X axis) - (motor with encoder) from the CNC system
Beam adjustment (Y1-Y2 axes) - (2 hydraulic cylinders controlled by Rexroth valves) from the CNC system

The press brake body is built from side walls and a table. The force on the table is applied by the bending beam moving in the body guides. Both the table and the beam are supported at two points. When very large forces act on the bent sheet metal, the table deflects. This causes a problem in achieving the set angle in the centre of the table. To obtain the same angle along the entire length of the bent sheet, it is necessary to equip the machine with a table compensation system. The most commonly used system is a mechanical system. This is the so-called opposing wave system. The underside of the press table is milled so that it can accommodate two strips with an opposing wave. The lower strip is fixed, while movement is carried out through the upper strip manually using a crank with a built-in scale or automatically through a transmission driven by a servo drive. This system ideally compensates for table deformations occurring during the sheet bending process, thereby ensuring high accuracy in maintaining the set angle value.
